1. What We Do

Back Pain Club is a browser-based posture detection app that uses your webcam to help you maintain good sitting posture while working.

2. Camera & Video Data

Your camera feed is processed entirely in your browser using MediaPipe Pose. We do not:

• Record, store, or transmit any video or images
• Send camera data to any server
• Use your camera for any purpose other than real-time posture detection

All pose analysis happens locally on your device. No video data ever leaves your browser.

3. Data Storage

Your session data (streak count, daily minutes, weekly stats) is stored only in your browser's localStorage. This data:

• Never leaves your device
• Is not synced to any cloud service
• Can be cleared by clearing your browser data

4. Face Blur

The app includes an optional face blur feature that obscures your face in the video preview. This processing happens entirely in your browser.

5. Third-Party Services

We load the following external resources:

• Google Fonts — for the Shippori Antique typeface
• MediaPipe (via jsDelivr CDN) — for pose detection models

These services may collect standard web analytics (IP address, browser type). Please refer to their respective privacy policies.

6. Cookies

Back Pain Club does not use cookies. We use localStorage only for saving your preferences and session stats.

7. Children

This app is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect any personal information from children.

8. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date.
